Kimmer Smith is an Indianapolis area guitarist with many years of live performance experience. He started playing guitar at age 12 and spent most of the 1970s to 1990s touring the Midwest and playing in nightclubs in Indiana, Ohio, Michigan, Illinois, Kentucky, and West Virginia. He then spent the next 20 years playing in local Indianapolis venues exclusively. While he has done some past studio work, most of Kimmer's playing has been on the live stage. He has always played a variety of guitar styles which he incorporates into his music.

Glenn Snelwar is a guitarist currently residing in Indianapolis. Since 2005 Glenn focused on his progressive rock project At War With Self which has featured Michael Manring, Mark Zonder, Damon Trotta, Manfred Dikkers and Marco Minnemann. Prior to forming At War With Self, Glenn focused on writing original compositions and was featured in Guitar Player and Total Guitar magazines, which resulted in his collaboration on the first Gordian Knot release featuring members of Dream Theater, King Crimson, Cynic and Watchtower.

Glenn and Kimmer started a musical collaboration in 2016 which resulted in some live performances and ultimately in this album. These songs were recorded during the pandemic of 2020.
